- Victoria Campbell Review added: 2018.04.05★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I've been in here twice since it has opened including today however on my first visit I had a really positive experience and a member of staff was very helpful with my mummy to be vouchers and helped me look for all the deals which I had no clue about... on another note today wasn't very pleasurable... a member of staff on the till was not very helpful and explained that we couldn't buy in bulk. I have just had my baby over 2 weeks ago and my newborn loves Aptamil since she came out of Hospital! I'm a new mum and I have no idea on milk and since I came out of hospital after having a C-section which nearly cost me the life of my newborn! this is all I knew and know now to buy her as I couldn't breast feed with the pain of having a c-section.. my baby is gusling quite alot and I am buying in bulk. I had a voucher for £5 off when you spend over £20. This voucher knocks alot off as I buy alot as she goes through alot. Anyway she explained to me on the till in quite an awkward tone.. you can only buy 12 small bottles per purchase.. meaning your not allowed to bulk buy! I myself for one would of thought they have enough stocked in the back! Anyhow my mother inlaw asked if we could do a repurchase on a separate transaction? She said yes but sshh don't tell anyone... how odd after she made such a fuss about bulk purchasing. Anyway then we have the voucher.. she said you can't use that because you don't have your boots card! This was getting ridiculous as we knew full well that we were going in for milk which would of gave us a discount of £5 which is a great deal if your buying 20 bottles which would of reduced the purchase to at a reasonable price.. however the total bill in the end came to well over 25 pounds.. just to mention we did buy a hat for my newborn too soo the discount we would of received would of helped alot! Anyway we have the receipt and I will be making a complaint to the head management about all of this. It is supposed to be a pleasant experience when purchasing for your newborn! Not helpful just rude staff customer service in my opinion!
(Just to add we went to boots in poynton and there was no rule about bulk buying?Just saying)
